Water Damage due to a Broken Pipe

This flooded basement located in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. was the result of a broken pipe.  When the homeowner discovered the damage there was 2 inches of standing water throughout the basement.

The basement had a large amount of contents that had sentimental value to the homeowner. Our SERVPRO of Western Essex County team arrived onsite within four hours of receiving the initial call. The Homeowner was reassured that our team would do the best they could to save the affected contents and restore the basement. 

Our technicians assisted with water extraction, pack out and inventory of the affected contents, and installation of specialty equipment to dry the structure. The after picture was taken just four days after the loss occurred, the homeowner was extremely grateful with our fast response and also appreciative of how carefully our team handled her personal property.
